Bio: Turnips are of the oldest cultivated root crops in the world. Sadly, they acquired a bad rap somewhere along the way and are very underappreciated! Turnips, a member of the mustard family, actually have a wonderful peppery bite that mellows when cooked. If you’re still not sold on the vegetable, it’s ok, we have a more palatable Turnip for you! She’s a perfect little pocket pibble who volunteers and staff love! Here’s what one friend said:
“Turnip is a petite pup who is a pleasure to walk! She is a bit nervous in the noisy shelter (though still easy to leash), but she begins to relax once outdoors. She walked at a nice, even pace while enjoying all of the interesting smells in the park.”
Turnip can be a tad shy at first, but she warms up quickly and is a friendly girl who is a lovely walking partner. She shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and playful when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ask to meet Turnip today!!
