I am a neutered male, brown and white German Shepherd Dog mix.

Age: The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 11 months old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jan 21, 2026.
Wrinkle came from a hoarding situation with nearly 100 dogs and was part of the first group to be helped by PACC’s Animal Restoration Kennel facility (ARK). ARK was created for the explicit purpose of addressing hoarding conditions at sites scattered throughout the county, allowing the animals in these situations to get the physical care and socialization that they need.
The dogs in Wrinkle’s group ranged in age and size and even included mamas with babies- all are sweet, deserving dogs who dream of a loving home and a chance at a healthy, happy life. Each dog has a unique personality- some came to PACC vibrant and brave, while others needed more TLC and help to build confidence, but all have love to share with their future family. Here’s what volunteers have said about Wrinkle:
“I’ve walked Wrinkle three or four times now, and he keeps showing improvement.
Leashing and unleashing is a go-slow experience for Wrinkle, but with a little time and coaxing he is usually ready for a walk. While walking, Wrinkle walks perfectly at heel and checks in frequently with his handler. He will take treats gently from the hand, but he prefers soft treats and usually won’t eat crunchy treats. After a few treats and a walk, Wrinkle will usually accept pets on the shoulder or rump. Wrinkle is a sweet, gentle boy who needs a patient person to show him love and kindness.”
“Wrinkle is still a shy boy. I slowly leashed him up and at first, he was hesitant to walk out but with encouragement we made it out and he walked well. In the yard he was social and tolerant of the other dogs. Overall, a sweet boy- he allowed brief pets as well.”
Wrinkle shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been tolerant and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d likely benefit from having a confident furry friend in his future home. Ask to meet an ARK dog today- and don’t forget to stock up on soft treats for Wrinkle!
