Saint Florentina of Cartagena is a Catholic saint known for her charity and compassion. She had a special concern for the poor and marginalized, often going out of her way to assist those in need. We have a darling little lady named Florentina who may not have achieved sainthood but has surely endeared herself to the PACC volunteer community! Here’s what one friend said:
“I spent time with Florentina in the yard today alongside her kennel mate. She was a little shy at first but continued to come back over for pets and attention throughout the interaction. She responded when called and seemed curious and interested in engaging with people. Overall, she was a very sweet girl with a gentle demeanor.”
