HI, I'M MEETEETSE!
1 Year Old • Shy Little Lady • Currently Learning How to Dog
Um...HI? I'm Meeteetse! Yes, that's my name.
NO, I DON'T KNOW HOW TO PRONOUNCE IT EITHER.
I'm a 1-year-old girl, and I have a little confession to make.
I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING.
You see, I'm a pretty shy little lady, and the world is still a VERY big, confusing place to me.
New people? New surroundings? All these strange sights and sounds?
IT'S A LOT TO PROCESS!
And don't even get me started on this thing called a LEASH.
Apparently, I'm supposed to put it on and then just...
WALK?! OUTSIDE?! WITH CONFIDENCE?!
MA'AM, I HAVE QUESTIONS.
I'm still struggling with leash walking, and I need someone who understands that I can't learn everything overnight.
I need patience.
I need gentle encouragement.
I need someone who will celebrate my little victories instead of expecting giant leaps.
BECAUSE LITTLE STEPS ARE STILL STEPS!
I'm not looking for a family who expects me to arrive knowing all the rules.
I'm looking for someone who will help me learn them.
Someone kind, understanding, and willing to put in the time to help a shy girl build her confidence.
No pressure to be brave all at once.
No rushing me through things that feel scary.
Just a helping hand, a little guidance, and lots of love.
I'm Meeteetse.
I'm one year old.
I'm still figuring things out.
And while I might not be the most confident girl in the world right now...
I'M READY TO TRY.
COME TO THE SHELTER, MEET ME, AND APPLY TO ADOPT ME TODAY!
I DON'T NEED SOMEONE WHO HAS ALL THE ANSWERS.
I JUST NEED SOMEONE WHO WON'T GIVE UP ON ME WHILE I LEARN.
Meeteetse is spayed, dewormed, microchipped and is up to date with vaccines. Her adoption fee is $650.00, plus $8.50 for the dog license if you are a resident of NYC. Meeteetse will also get one free exam with one of our participating veterinarians within 30 days of his adoption.
If you'd like to meet her please visit, we're conveniently located in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn near the F train (Ft Hamilton Pkwy) and the B16 bus. We're open daily for adoptions from 11am to 5:30pm.
Meeteetse can't wait to meet you!
