I am a male, blue Catahoula Leopard Hound mix.

Age: The shelter staff think I am about 9 months old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jul 08, 2026.
This kanga-Roo is hoping to hop his way into your heart! He's an active guy that will appreciate an active lifestyle full of adventure. Roo hasn't lived with other dogs but enjoyed romping with another pup here at the shelter! If you have a dog and are interested in Roo, bring them down for a meet-and-greet so we can help ensure it's a match. And while he loves dogs, seeing them when on leash can be a bit frustrating for him because he just wants to play! Because of this, he will need to live in an area that has a lower density of neighborhood dogs (no apartments please!). Roo doesn't seem to be a fan of sharing his food, so HSBV will only rehome him to a family either without children or with children over the age of 10.
Roo can be met with until 4:30pm so our Training & Behavior team can provide adoption counseling.
