Description: My name is Mack.
I am a male, fawn German Shepherd Dog mix.
I am a male, fawn German Shepherd Dog mix.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 10 years old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Sep 27, 2021.
Mack is a 10 year-old Shepherd mix with a goofy soul, a huge heart, and the kind of loyalty you can’t teach. He’s shy at first but warms up quickly—and once he does, he’s full of zoomies, toy time, fetch, and cuddles. He even carries around his favorite giant stuffed animal like it’s a treasure.
He LOVES car rides, walks, and relaxing in the grass next to his favorite people.
He also has a manageable thyroid condition that’s treated with simple daily meds—and it’s made a big difference for him.
Here’s what Mack needs:
?? A calm home where he’s the only pet
?? Adults or older kids (he’s big and strong, but gentle)
?? A family who will give him time to settle and feel safe
Mack knows:
• Sit
• Down
• Stay
• Paw
• Drop it
• Come when called
• And he walks beautifully on a leash—even around other dogs
He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and waiting. Still.
There is absolutely no reason this dog—or any dog—should grow old in a shelter. He’s ready. He just needs someone to say yes.
