Was Albert Villodo a cat whisperer? He seemed to understand the nature of cats when he said said, “Everyone else is waiting for eternity, and the shamans are saying, ‘How about tonight?’” Yup. I’m a cat named Shaman, formerly known as Arlo. I was adopted from Paws and Claws in 2018 when I was just a kitten. I was returned because my family says that I “cannot coexist with" the small dog they adopted. They described me as independent and territorial. They also said that I am caring and smart. I liked the teenagers, aged 14 and 18, in my home, and at 8 years young, I am a playful guy, so bring out the toys! I liked sleeping with my people; I also did okay sleeping alone. I am a good eater, enjoying both dry and wet food. I enjoy food a bit too much; I am healthy but overweight. My adopter may need to check with their vet to see what an appropriate diet and exercise plan should be. I was adopted again a few months after being returned, but that home was not a good fit for me, and I was returned again because my adopter said my behavior could be unpredictable. Will third time be the charm for me? Yes, I would love my new home to be forever, but forever starts with one event, so??? Why not come in and adopt Shaman today?
