Hi there, my name is Hank! I was originally adopted as a puppy, and unfortunately found myself here at Paws and Claws again needing a new home. You see, I made a mistake, and my family decided I wasn't able to stay any more. I didn't mean to do anything wrong, but I found a really yummy bone in the woods and didn't want anyone to take it away from me. I've never guarded anything before, but this was a really special find! So now, because I made a mistake, I need a new family. My new family will need to understand that they may need to work on resource guarding behaviors with me, and that training is always a good idea as it not only helps curb undesirable behaviors, but also keeps my mind sharp! While I did live with kids in my previous home, older children or an adult only home would be ideal due to any potential resource guarding behavior. I've been around other dogs, hyland cows, sheep, ducks (although I did like to chase the duck sometimes), and even guinea pigs, and been friendly to all! I do like to play, so hopefully any animals in your home are looking for a buddy (due to my size, it's best that my playmates aren't to little)! If you are looking for a forever friend, please come meet me. I'd love to be back in a home with people who love me.
