Description: My name is Trooper.
I am a male, grey and white Terrier mix.
I am a male, grey and white Terrier mix.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 7 months old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Oct 01, 2024.
Trooper is a sweet 1.5-year-old male terrier mix who came to the shelter with three other puppies. He had an incident with one of the dogs he arrived with but has since recovered and is ready for a fresh start. Trooper is a bit shy and unsure at first, especially with new people, but once he feels safe, he shows his playful and affectionate side. He walks well on a leash and knows basic commands, though he can be reactive to strangers, particularly men. Trooper will need a slow introduction to new dogs and may be best as the only dog in the home (up to our trainers discretion). With patience, understanding, and consistent training, Trooper will make a loyal and loving companion in an experienced, adult-only home.
