More Info: I have been at the shelter since Oct 01, 2024.
Trooper is a sweet 2 year old terrier mix who’s ready for a fresh start. He came to the shelter with three other puppies and, after overcoming a rough experience, has shown just how resilient he can be. Trooper can be shy and unsure at first especially with new people but once he feels safe, his playful, affectionate personality shines through. He walks nicely on leash, knows basic cues, and is eager to keep learning with the right guidance. Trooper can be reactive to strangers, particularly men, and will need slow, thoughtful introductions to both people and dogs. He may do best as the only dog in the home, depending on trainer guidance. With patience, consistency, and love, Trooper will thrive in an experienced, adult-only home as a loyal and devoted companion.
