More Info: I have been at the shelter since Mar 01, 2025.
Storm is a female terrier mix who came to the shelter as an owner surrender and is now looking for a fresh start in the right environment. She can be cautious when meeting new people and benefits from patience and consistency as she builds trust, but once she feels comfortable, Storm shows her affectionate side and enjoys relaxing with her favorite people. Storm knows basic cues such as “sit” and “come” and does best in a quiet, structured home where routines help her feel secure. While no food or resource guarding has been observed during her time at the shelter, she has a history of guarding food, toys, and her bed in her previous home, so she will need experienced, dog-savvy adopters who understand management and positive reinforcement. Because of this history, Storm would do best as the only dog in an adult-only home. With the right guidance, patience, and calm leadership, Storm can thrive as a loyal, devoted companion.
