More Info: I have been at the shelter since Mar 01, 2025.
Storm is a female terrier mix who came to the shelter as an owner surrender. She is reported to have no issues with food or resource guarding during her evaluation here, but it's important to note that in her previous home, she guarded food, toys, and her bed. Storm is cautious and takes a little bit to warm up to new people so she may need time and patience to build trust. She knows basic cues like sit and come and would do best in a home where she can receive a quiet and structured environment. Due to her history of guarding, she is not recommended to a home with other dogs. Storm loves her people and her relaxation time! Given her reserved nature and history of guarding, Storm would be best suited for an adult-only home with experienced dog owners who can offer her a calm and patient environment to build her confidence.
