Meet Callie, a 4.5 year young Terrier mix who thinks personal space is just a suggestion! This sweet, silly girl lives for her people and is happiest when she’s soaking up pets, giving gentle kisses, or leaning her whole head into you for love. She walks beautifully on leash, knows “sit,” and while she may get a little bouncy when she’s excited, she responds well to gentle guidance. Callie has shown no guarding behaviors in the shelter, though her previous home reported some food guarding, so she’ll do best with structured mealtimes. She prefers people over other dogs and may thrive as your one-and-only or with a calm, compatible dog after proper introductions. She’d love a home with experienced teens who understand her boundaries. If you’re looking for a goofy cuddle bug who will adore you with her whole heart, Callie is your girl.
