Age: The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 5 months old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Mar 04, 2026.
Meet Lulu, a 1.5 year young Shepherd mix. Lulu is a playful young shepherd with a sweet soul who just needs a little time to build confidence. She may be shy when first meeting new people, especially men, but once she begins to feel safe her gentle personality starts to shine. Lulu loves toys and enjoys engaging in play with her handler, showing off her fun and energetic side. She already knows cues like sit, down, and paw and walks nicely on leash with minimal pulling. Lulu can be a bit hand shy at first and may take some time to warm up to new friends, but patience and kindness go a long way with this sensitive girl. Once she opens up, she offers soft eye contact and happily accepts treats and playtime. She could possibly live with another canine and would do best in a home that can give her the time, reassurance, and love she needs to continue blossoming into the confident companion she’s meant to be.
