I am a male, black and brown Siberian Husky and Rottweiler.

Age: The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since May 12, 2026.
Axel is a husky mix with big “main character energy” and absolutely zero idea he’s not the star of his own movie. This sweet boy is super friendly, loves meeting new people, and gives the softest eye contact like he’s about to tell you all his secrets. He’s easy to handle, happy to be pet all over, and just wants to be your best friend ASAP. Axel is a curious explorer on leash (translation: lots of sniffing, a little pulling, very important business to attend to), and while toys catch his interest, he’s currently more into investigating the world, and we think his playful side will really shine once he settles in. He’s a gentle, dainty player with other dogs, passed his cat test (king of respecting boundaries), and appears to be housebroken.. basically a well rounded good boy with room to blossom. Axel would do best in a home with teens+ and humans who appreciate a slightly goofy, sweet, “I’m figuring it out as I go” kind of vibe.
