More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 24, 2026.
Meet Royal! This handsome 1.5 year young Shepherd mix is an absolute favorite who is fully focused on human affection. Royal walks beautifully on lead, appears completely housebroken, and already knows basic cues like "sit" and "paw." He has an incredibly sweet disposition, takes treats very gently, and will immediately lean into you to solicit chest and face rubs. While he is friendly to every stranger he encounters, he is a sensitive boy who can get startled by sudden noises or novel objects. Because he is a bit insecure and under-socialized around other pups, Royal is looking for a structured home with older kids where he can receive slow, patient introductions.
