More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 06, 2025.
Kiara is a beautiful girl with a heart full of quiet love and a longing for a place to truly call home. She’s a sweet, sensitive girl who may be shy at first, but beneath that timid exterior is a deeply loyal companion just waiting to feel safe, understood, and loved. New places and unfamiliar faces can be a little overwhelming for Kiara, but she has a gentle way of reaching out, often bringing over her favorite toy as a sweet offering to those she’s learning to trust. It’s her way of saying, “I want to be your friend.”
Kiara would likely do best in a calm, stable home with adults or older children ages 10+ who can give her the space and security she needs to settle in at her own pace. She was surrendered to us with her companion Kovu, and the two of them are very close. We recommend that the two are adopted together due to their long-lasting bond of friendship. Kiara may also do well with another mellow, respectful dog after a slow and thoughtful introduction. If you have a quiet heart and a soft spot for gentle souls, Kiara may be the perfect match. She’s not just looking for a home, she’s looking for someone who sees her, believes in her, and is ready to give her the second chance she deserves!
