I am a male, black and tan German Shepherd Dog and Siberian Husky.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 4 years old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 05, 2026.
Rip is a mellow, friendly boy who is looking for a peaceful place to call home. He has an independent spirit and is perfectly content enjoying the simple pleasures in life like sniffing around at his own pace, soaking up the sunshine, and taking in the world one leisurely moment at a time. While Rip appreciates having some quiet time to himself, he also loves spending time with his favorite people. Once he knows you're a friend, he's a loyal and loving companion who is happy to share his days with the people he trusts. Rip does have some difficulty walking due to challenges with his hips, so he would benefit from a home that can accommodate his mobility needs and allow him to enjoy life at a comfortable pace. Because of this, we recommend that any children in his new home are age 10 or older so they can understand and respect his needs. Rip may also do well with another gentle dog in his new home after a slow and thoughtful introduction. If you're looking for a laid-back companion who enjoys sunshine, peaceful sniffing adventures, and quality time with his favorite people, Rip might be your perfect match!
Adoption Price: $150
