This handsome 18-pound gentleman firmly believes breakfast should be served promptly, and any delays may result in dramatic performances including pant-leg nibbles, hand swats, and a strongly worded complaint filed directly with your ankles. Mornings are his time, and he expects his staff (that's you) to respect the schedule.
Max is not your typical cuddly lap cat. He prefers affection on his terms and can become overstimulated with too much petting. Because of this, he is seeking an experienced cat person who understands feline body language and appreciates a cat with boundaries, opinions, and a healthy sense of self-importance.
He enjoys spending his days free-roaming, supervising household activities, people-watching, and making sure everyone remembers that the world revolves around him. At 18 pounds, he considers exercise important and enjoys patrolling his kingdom, followed by lengthy window-sitting sessions where he can judge both birds and humans alike.
He is cat-friendly, dog-tolerant with passing by shelter dogs, and absolutely convinced that every room he enters is now his office.
