I have been at the shelter since Sep 09, 2025.
Chiquis is a young, high energy lab that is available for adoption. She is friendly with people and treat motivated. At this point she will do best in a home as the only dog and with an experienced adopter. Chiquis would benefit from consistent training and controlled socialization with other dogs to help with her reactivity. She will require a lot of activity and mental stimulation to help her be the best dog she can be. Once she trusts her people she will look to them for praise, pets, and reassurance in situations that overwhelm her.
