Description: Staff named me Alec and I am a neutered male, black and white Mixed Breed.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 5 years old.

I was lost but my owner has not found me.
Ladies and gentleman, get ready to meet Santa Fe’s most eligible bachelor. Alec! This fan favorite of the shelter is adored by everyone who has ever interacted with him. In fact, he loves going on outings/dates with some of our volunteers. One even had this to say about him: “Alec may be a teenager but I think he’s a puppy at heart. This sweet boy and I had a great typical day together. We took several walks, played at home, and took a little nap. Alec enjoyed being outside on the balcony of my apartment, and sniffing out all the new neighborhood smells. During lunch he did not beg while I ate. One of my many doggie weaknesses is the curious head turn and this boy has it. He is truly ready for any kind of adventure.” If you want an explorer and a catch potato, then Alec who weighs 62 pounds is the one for you.
Alec’s adoption fee is sponsored by Kyle's Critters. He is neutered and microchipped and has age-appropriate vaccinations. A licensing/microchip fee may apply.
