Description: Staff named me Alec and I am a neutered male, black and white Mixed Breed.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 5 years old.

I was lost but my owner has not found me.
In the market for a new velcor pitty by any chances? Well come one and come all to the Santa Fe Animal Shelter and meet Alec!! He isn't fully commited to being a velcro pitty but I am sure with the right person that will change, and fast! Our good boy Alec is 5 years-old and slightly under 70lbs, so he is at a perfect size to cuddle with at night. Alec is also a great boy to walk on the leash, never pulling unless it's to get away from a moving car because those are scary. He also is a huge fan of going on long hikes with our volunteers, and especially loves gettting the opportunity to wag his tail and greet new friends both the two and four legged ones! Once at home, Alec really loves to play with his chuck-it ball, or get a good game of tug-of-war in before settling for the night on the couch to watch some t.v.
Alec’s adoption fee is sponsored by Kyle's Critters. He is neutered and microchipped and has age-appropriate vaccinations. A licensing/microchip fee may apply.
