Age: The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Feb 28, 2025.
Meet John! John is a 3-year-old, male neutered Leonberger Mix. John is a gentle giant with a playful spirit and a heart of gold. He adores belly rubs and will happily roll over to ask for one! With his warm personality, he thrives on affection and attention, always ready to be by your side. John is the perfect blend of fun and calm, making him a wonderful companion for both adventure and relaxation. He does show guarding of food and can be protective of his people. He would benefit from having a trainer work with him, and crating him is best.
Please note that this is a giant WORKING breed dog and is best suited on a large property and in a home with previous experience with these strong working type breeds.
