Puss In Boots!!
Even at such a young age, Puss In Boots is a handsome fella with plenty of kitten charm! He does have soe lasting scarring on his left eye from a previous bout of inflammation, likely related to feline herpesvirus (FHV). This gives his eye an unusual appearance, and while some of the scarring may improve over time, some is expected to remain.
The good news? Puss In Boots is currently comfortable, has no signs of active infection or inflammation, and still has some vision in his affected eye. He is medically cleared for adoption and does not need any treatment for his eye at this time.
His adopter should keep an eye out for signs of discomfort or a new eye issue, such as squinting, redness, or discharge, and seek veterinary care if any concerns arise. A baseline exam with his future veterinarian is also recommended so they can become familiar with his medical history and those adorable, unique eyes!
Puss In Boots may have a little extra character in his looks, but that certainly doesn't slow down this sweet kitten!
