More Info: I am currently staying with a Foster Family and they are planning to adopt me.
I have been in shelter care since Jun 09, 2026.
Benzo recently left our shelter for his foster home and hasn't looked back since. While his foster can't keep him forever, they are happy to provide him a cozy place to land until he finds the perfect home of his own. Luckily, with a face as cute as this, we doubt it will be very long before he's found his furever home! What's not to love about Benzo?!
After only about a week in his foster home, he's already proven himself to be the full package! Benzo is fully potty trained, dog friendly, low energy, and cuddly as they come. Benzo can get short bursts of playful energy, and when he does, his favorite thing is a game if fetch. After about 4-5 throws of the tennis ball, he's ready to settle back in for a nap!
Benzo's fosters say that he has slept in every single dog bed in the house and is happy to make himself right at home during nap time. He gets along well with their dog but is generally disinterested in playing and prefers to just coexist with his doggy friends. His fosters do say that he has a bit of a prey drive and may do best in a home with no cats.
