Colt is a handsome German Shepherd with an independent streak and a special appreciation for snacks! This medium energy guy is happy to make his own fun by exploring his surroundings and keep an eye on the world around him, but bring out the treats and you’ll have his full attention! He’s very treat motivated, knows how to sit on command, and is ready to keep putting those skills to use. Colt walks well on leash and is easy to handle. He’s perfectly content doing his own thing rather than chasing toys, and while he’s happy to accept pets, he’s not the type to demand attention all day.
After repeatedly spinning around to chew at his tail, our medical team had to amputate his tail to prevent further self injury. He’s looking extra adorable now with his new little nub tail, and always wiggles it happily.
If you’re looking for a gorgeous German Shepherd who enjoys having his own space, appreciates a good snack, and doesn't need constant entertainment, Colt could be your guy!
