Dolly Parton may share a name with a superstar, but she is busy building a fan club of her own. While she started out a little unsure of the world around her, it did not take long for her sweet personality to shine through. Shelter staff found that once she arrived, she was friendly, cooperative, and happy to accept handling without any fuss. These days, she greets people with loose tail wags and a much brighter outlook, showing just how much she has blossomed in a short amount of time.
Dolly seems like the kind of dog who simply needed a chance to realize people are on her side. She has a gentle spirit and a soft, endearing way about her that makes you want to root for her. The best part is that she still has so much room to grow as her confidence continues to build. A patient adopter will get the joy of watching her settle in, open up, and become the happy, devoted companion she is meant to be. Sometimes the sweetest dogs are the ones who take a little time to show you their hearts, and Dolly Parton is well worth the wait.
