Description: My name is Brooks and I am a neutered male, gray and white Pit Bull Terrier.
Age: I am about 3 years old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since May 05, 2026.
Brooks is the kind of dog who believes every day should include a little fun. The moment he got the chance to stretch his legs outside, he celebrated with joyful zoomies and a big smile. He is easy to handle, enjoys getting out and exploring, and has a playful spirit that is hard not to love. Brooks seems happiest when he has room to move, something interesting to sniff, and a person nearby to share the adventure.
While he certainly enjoys his playtime, Brooks also has a sweet side. During his evaluation he happily came over for affection, accepted pets all over, and was easy to leash and return to his kennel. Volunteers recommend long sniff walks and play sessions, which seem right up his alley. Brooks feels like the perfect companion for someone looking for a dog who can bring a little extra joy, laughter, and energy into everyday life. Whether he's zooming around the yard or leaning in for a quick scratch, he's ready to make the most of every moment with his future family.
All adoptions include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home. Adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before leaving the shelter's care.
