More Info: I have been at the shelter since May 19, 2026.
Bonnie is a dog who loves deeply and wholeheartedly. Her former family described her as a dog who adores attention, enjoys a good game of tug-of-war, and is always happy to hop in the car for an adventure. She has lived with children, enjoys being close to her people, and knows a few basic cues like sit and lay down. The picture that emerges is of a dog who has spent years as part of a family and who is happiest when she has people to love and activities to share with them.
Like many dogs, Bonnie can find shelter life overwhelming. The noise, constant activity, and close proximity to other dogs have been challenging for her, but outside of her kennel she has the opportunity to show more of who she really is. Bonnie would likely thrive with a family willing to give her time to settle in, build trust, and enjoy all the things she loves most: attention, playtime, car rides, and being someone's loyal companion. At seven years old, she has plenty of life, love, and adventures still ahead of her, and she is hoping her next chapter is with a family that will appreciate what a devoted friend she can be.
