Description: My name is Junebug and I am a female, brown and gray Pit Bull Terrier.

More Info: I have been at the shelter since May 26, 2026.
Junebug is a gentle soul with a heart as sweet as their name. When found, Junebug was understandably a little unsure of the situation, but it didn't take much to see the loving dog underneath. A few kind words, some gentle encouragement, and a little baby talk were enough to bring out their affectionate side. Junebug loves attention, enjoys being petted, and seems happiest when someone takes the time to reassure them that everything is going to be okay.
Like many dogs, the shelter environment can feel overwhelming at times, and Junebug can be a little nervous when life gets hectic. But once someone slows down and offers patience and kindness, they settle and show just how sweet they really are. Junebug is looking for a home that will give them the chance to decompress, build confidence, and enjoy all the comforts that come with being part of a family. In return, you'll get a loyal companion who already knows that love and gentle words make the world a much brighter place.
All adoptions include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home.
