Age: The shelter staff think I am about 5 months old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Oct 13, 2026.
Coming to us as a stray, this sweet little one is ready for a new home, when we open for adoption tomorrow. Meet Kataleya!
She was neither chipped nor had an ID to indicate if she had a family, and sadly no one ever came to reunite with her.
Let’s change all that and help this little 5 month old cutie find her forever!
If you can provide the forever that adorable Kataleya deserves, filled with love and the knowledge that she will never be a stray again, please come and meet her in person!
We are a first come, first served and in-person adoption center located at 430 Bristol Drive, Statesville, NC.
Hours: Monday–Friday 12–5 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
Please only adopt if you can commit to forever and forever spoiling… This is what Kataleya is longing for!
Meet and greets with other dogs and children are always recommended. We don’t know how she does with cats and have no way to test for this.
The 3 3 3 Rule for shelter pets:
3 days to decompress
3 weeks to settle in
3 months to build trust
Katalya’s adoption fee is $40 through the end of day, October 24, 2026.
All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines and preventatives. Adopters must establish veterinary care after adoption to maintain their new family member’s health and wellness.
Please bring a collar and leash, or purchase a combo from us for $15 to safely take your new pet home.
