Sweet Scarlett was reluctantly surrendered to us by her owner who lost housing and could no longer care for her. We're hoping that someone with a heart for senior dogs looks into her eyes and sees a loyal companion who deserves a comfy but somewhat active retirement home.Senior pets do tend to enjoy the slower life, but don’t let that fool you--Scarlett has lived successfully with respectful children, knows several commands, and still has quite a bit of spunk--she loves to play fetch and tug. If you're looking for a friend that enjoys a slower pace but still has a lot of love and fun to give, please consider Scarlett!
