Glinda is a playful goofball who can't decide which is more fun: admiring herself in a mirror or chasing her tail. She didn't get much socialization before coming to us so she's been in a foster home learning how this whole "living with people" thing is supposed to work, and she's really come a long way. Sure, she'll probably never be a social butterfly. Company coming over? She'll likely hide the whole time. (Honestly, a lot of us would do that if we could!) But she's decided pets are okay now and then, and she likes to sleep on a corner of her foster's bed at night. Change is probably always going to be scary for her but a slow, structured transition and giving her time to adjust at her own pace go a long way towards helping her settle in. If you need your very own mirror inspector, email adoptions@lawrencehumane.org so we can set up a meet!
