Broadway is learning how to be brave. Based on how timid she was when she first arrived, it’s a good guess she had a tough past. She doesn't trust easily, but with calm, gentle reinforcement (and plenty of cookies) she’s starting to blossom. When she feels nervous, she lets you know with a flurry of constant, gentle licks. Underneath her cautious shell, Broadway knows exactly what she wants: morning belly rubs, a spot on the human bed, long walks, and to go everywhere you go! She’s mostly indifferent to other dogs, unless food is involved, then she’ll watch intently, softly scooting closer with a little whine. Her play style is pretty low-maintenance; she’ll occasionally chew on a deer antler, but otherwise ignores toys. That said, she’s athletic, surprisingly fast, and has a impressive jump! Broadway is fully house-trained and let's her fosters know when nature calls. She does well in her crate, though she’d prefer to be out. She is typically left alone 6-8 hours a day. If left to her own devices, she has a hilarious habit of collecting your stinkiest piece of clothing, giving it a gentle nibble, and tucking it into her bed for comfort. Broadway is in a foster home!
