Description: My name is Rio.
I am a neutered male, brown and black dog.
I am a neutered male, brown and black dog.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 7 years old.
More Info: I am in Kennel 5230
I have been at the shelter since Oct 05, 2026.
About Me: Meet Rio, a sweet and loyal 7-year-old gentleman who is looking for a loving home where he can shine! Since he is already neutered, he is set to head home with his new family today without any waiting period. Rio is potty trained, meaning most likely house-trained, which helps make his transition into a new home smooth and easy. On lead, he walks nicely by your side as he explores, though he can get a little excited when he spots potential furry friends along the way. His previous family shared that he lived comfortably with kids of all ages and has done well around other dogs at the park! This affectionate boy loves being near his human companions, leaning in close for cozy cuddles, and gently resting his head in your lap. He is easygoing, knows basic commands, and thrives when surrounded by love and attention. If you are looking for a gentle, devoted friend to bring quiet warmth and sweet moments to your home, Rio is ready to meet you! If you would like to get to know him better outside of the shelter environment, ask staff about our foster programs to give Rio a well-deserved break from the shelter. Come meet Rio today!
