More Info: I am currently being fostered and am not at the shelter.
I have been at the shelter since Jun 07, 2026.
About Me: Meet Mochi, a young, vivacious boy who is looking for his active forever home. This very active and energetic guy absolutely hates being cooped up and loves nothing more than being out and playing. He is a truly silly boy who is sure to bring endless entertainment and joy to your days. Mochi is in search of a home with a strong, active, and patient person who can keep up with his fun-loving energy and give him the outlets he needs to thrive.

'Mochi has been an absolute joy to foster and has settled into home life wonderfully. He is a well-mannered, affectionate dog who is eager to please and thrives on positive attention.
Some of Mochi's best qualities include:
* House-trained and reliably uses the dog door for potty breaks.
* Non-destructive and trustworthy when left alone with free run of the house.
* Crate trained and sleeps comfortably in his crate overnight (this has worked well while my cats have their time to roam).
* Walks easily on a leash and is a pleasure to take out.
* Gets along very well with other dogs and enjoys having canine companions.
* Playful, gentle, and does well with children.
* Loves interactive play, especially tug-of-war, chewing on durable chew toys, and splashing around during water play.
* Very food motivated, making him easy to train. He learns quickly and already knows **sit**, **wait**, and **come**.
* Takes treats very gently and has shown no signs of aggression toward people or other dogs.
The only home consideration is that Mochi is **not suitable for a home with cats or birds**, as he has a strong prey drive toward small animals. Aside from this, he has been an easy, loving companion.
Mochi has a sweet, happy personality and genuinely wants to make his people happy. He loves being involved in whatever his family is doing and would make a wonderful addition to a home looking for a loyal, affectionate, playful, and well-behaved companion."
