About Me: Meet Roswell! Estimated to be around 6 years old, Roswell came to the shelter as a stray and is now hoping his next stop is a home of his very own.
At about 80 pounds, Roswell is a big boy with an even bigger heart. He could benefit from shedding a few pounds, but that doesn't stop him from being an absolute sweetheart. His gentle nature and lovable personality shine through the moment you meet him.
During our time in the play yard, Roswell was completely captivated by all the people walking by. With his wide, hopeful eyes fixed on every passerby, he seemed to be saying, "Hey! Over here! Look at me! I'm a good boy!" You can almost feel how badly he wants someone to notice him and choose him.
When he takes a break from watching the world go by, Roswell will wander over and quietly sit by your feet, looking up at you with those soulful eyes that are impossible to forget. He enjoys affection, happily accepts handling, and seemed to love every hug and bit of attention he received.
Roswell is the kind of dog who feels like he was made to be part of a family. He's a happy, hopeful, gentle giant who still believes his people are out there somewhere. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a heart as big as he is, Roswell is ready to meet you.
