About Me: Meet Puppermint Patty, a young, sweet girl who loves affection and cuddles and is looking for her loving forever home! She is an absolute sweetheart craving love and human connection, and she was super gentle, easy to handle, and very cooperative while being leashed in her kennel. Puppermint Patty is ready to be pampered and loved! She loves resting her head in your lap, placing her paw on your leg or hand, and soaking up all the gentle head scratches and pets. Right now, she isn't interested in chasing toys or high-energy games; she is tired and ready for a quiet, safe, and loving environment where she can decompress and get a good few days of solid rest. She is also a polite girl who sits and offers her paw on her own, holding it out as if asking for a gentle handshake! While she turned down cheese crackers, Puppermint Patty loves beef jerky treats and takes them very gently from your hand. If you would like to get to know her better outside of the shelter environment, ask staff about our foster programs to give Puppermint Patty a well-deserved break from the kennel.
