Description: My name is Cookie.
I am a female, white and brown dog.
I am a female, white and brown dog.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 8 years old.
More Info: I was found around W Washington Ave & N Durango Dr.
I am in Kennel 5236
I have been at the shelter since Sep 27, 2026.
About Me: Meet Cookie, a sweet, gentle senior girl who is looking for a quiet, loving forever home or partner rescue to step in and shower her with care! Despite her vision challenges, Cookie is a sweet-natured, easygoing companion. She loves wandering around the play yard at her own peaceful pace, sniffing the grass, and happily trotting over to greet people whenever she hears friendly voices nearby. This peaceful senior lady brings a calm, heartwarming presence wherever she goes and simply wants a predictable, cozy spot where she can feel safe, relax, and enjoy simple daily pleasures. Because Cookie is navigating sight loss and needs a calm, supportive setting, she will thrive with a dedicated adopter or rescue partner who can provide her with a secure environment and lots of love. If you have a quiet home and a big heart for a gentle senior soul, Cookie is ready to meet you! If you would like to get to know her better outside of the shelter environment, ask staff about our foster or rescue programs to give Cookie a well-deserved break from the shelter. Come meet Cookie today!
