More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jul 13, 2026.
Dubai is a 2-year-old, 47 lb. Pit Bull who is struggling with the stress of the shelter and needs a home willing to open their home and give her a quieter place to decompress. Dubai can be fearful and hesitant with new situations, but she has made encouraging progress through our Behavior Modification Program. Once away from her kennel, she begins to relax and show a wonderfully affectionate side—seeking attention, rubbing into her handler’s hands for pets, and even climbing into their lap.
Dubai recently met another dog and while she was hesitant and fearful, she showed curiosity towards the other dog and did well on their walk together.
Dubai needs a patient, dog-savvy home who can provide a calm environment, allow her time to settle in at her own pace, and help her continue building confidence. If you can open your home to Dubai, please consider taking this sweet, sensitive girl and giving her the break from the shelter she desperately needs.
