I am a female, brown brindle and white Pit Bull Terrier.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 2 months old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 21, 2026.
Sweet Azalea is a 2-year-old, 44-pound brindle and white girl who just needs a patient home where she can relax and let her personality blossom. The shelter has been a little overwhelming for her, but once she’s outside and given time to feel comfortable, you can see the sweet girl underneath. She walks nicely on leash, enjoys taking her time to sniff, gently accepts treats, and has progressed to seeking out affection, leaning into people for pets, and settling beside them. She has also calmly ignored other dogs while passing their kennels, though her notes do not document a direct dog-to-dog interaction. Have a dog at home? Bring them to meet her! Azalea has already shown how much she can open up when she feels safe—now she just needs a home to help her keep blooming!
