Age: The shelter staff think I am about 11 months old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Sep 23, 2026.
Meet Max! His favorite things are running through the sprinkler
(and swimming!), treats, training, spending time with his people, and being
outside! Max can be a bit reserved at first, but warms up quickly and is
looking for a patient family who can give an adopted dog some time to
decompress in the new home. Max loves to play and is full of energy, and
would make a great companion for a hiker, runner, or just an admirer of the
great outdoors, but he can also settle nicely with a chew. Max prefers the
company of human friends to canine friends and wants to be your only dog,
but would enjoy having carefully selected dog friends to go on walks with
once he has fully decompressed into your home.
Max has been through a few transitions recently, and may need a gentle
start, but once he feels secure, he`ll reward you with endless love and
loyalty!
