Joe is a handsome young gentleman looking for a cozy home to spend his golden years. He loves the simple things in life—snacking on tasty treats, taking long naps, and relaxing in comfort. Every now and then, this distinguished fellow surprises everyone with a burst of energy, showing he's still got plenty of pep! If you're looking for a sweet, laid-back companion with a charming personality, Joe could be the perfect addition to your family. Joe came in with several other males, and should go home with one (or more) of them, or to a home with an existing male guinea pig as a companion.
Guinea pigs can make wonderful pets! They are very social creatures which means that they generally need at least one companion! Of course guinea pigs should only be kept with other piggies of the same sex. A pair of guinea pigs needs at minimum 10.5 sq. feet of cage space, or roughly 30" x 50" with a solid bottom, but more room is always encouraged! Guinea pigs can be quite noisy which can be lovely as long as you are expecting it!
