He loves other dogs, plays vocally in group, enjoys being petted, and has a fun-loving personality that shines through once he’s out of his kennel. Though easy to leash, Chops is a strong puller on walks and can be reactive when passing other dogs, so he’ll need an owner committed to helping him manage his enthusiasm. He isn’t very treat motivated and has poor recall, preferring to romp and explore, so a secure fenced yard is a must for his safety. Chops is an active senior who simply needs structure, patience, and a soft place to land—if you’re looking for a loyal companion to share his golden years with, this sweet boy is ready for his forever couch.
