Description: My name is Sierra and I am a spayed female, black and tan Shepherd and Australian Kelpie.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 4 years old.
More Info: I was found at Coalinga Rd/ Airline Hwy 25 in an area out of the county.

Bio: Sierra has already mastered the art of being a delightful companion. She is past the puppy stage, with a mature, steady personality and excellent overall manners. She knows how to be affectionate without being overwhelming, enjoys spending time with people, and seems happiest when she is included in the day’s adventures.
At the library, Sierra did beautifully with children, calmly sharing their storytime world as if she had always belonged among the books and bright, curious little readers. At the nursery, she also did well with other dogs, showing that she can be a lovely social companion.
With her intelligent Shepherd side, her bright Australian Kelpie spirit, and her tender heart, Sierra is a wonderful blend of smarts, sweetness, and grown-up charm. She is ready for walks, cozy evenings, gentle companionship, and all the little rituals that make a house feel like home.
Sierra isn’t looking for a puppy-filled whirlwind. She is looking for someone who will appreciate the beauty of a mature dog: a loyal friend, a thoughtful companion, and a sweet soul who already knows how to behave beautifully.
