Insights from my foster:
"Kale is a sweet orange tabby with a heart of gold who wants all the attention and just wants attention all day and wants to play. He enjoys getting pets and yearns cheek rubs and chin scratches. His favorite toy is chasing anything attached to a wand and loves to climb on anything. There are times where I find him on tables, he is like a little parkour Houdini and is always seeking out adventures. Kale is usually good with other kittens and cats; at first he was a little possessive of sharing his toys and will "resource" guard it. Over time with reassurance, training, and FELIWAY, he learned how to share and now he is fine and okay with sharing his toys and understands that toys and other resources are meant to be shared. He now is okay and plays with his foster kitten brother and now they are best friends to the end. My favorite thing about Kale is not only is a sweet and cuddly little kitten, but he learns fast. When he first learned how to share his toys with his foster kitten brother, he was not willing to budge on the idea. Over time, he learned that it was okay and that toys were meant to be shared. Learning the idea, he eventually understood that his resources were always going to be there for him and therefore, he stopped growling and hissing at his foster kitten brother. Now, they even cuddle, groom and sleep together; it is the cutest thing!"
