Hello! I came to OCAS when my owner could no longer care for me. I'm learning to trust as kind people are helping me adjust and work on socialization. I'll also need help with basic training, but I'm young and eager to learn!
Insights from my adventure buddies and foster friends:
He is very sweet. He likes playing outside. He will sleep in crate if he can hear or see you. He follows when off leash. He jumps on things a bit. Goes outdoors often to help with potty training. Good boy learning the ropes!
Kyrie has a very nice and gentle demeanor. He is such a sweet and loving boy. He takes treats very gently. He was motivated by praise and treats. We went on an hour long walk around the neighborhood and then a hike in the woods. He has fairly moderate energy and was pretty tired after the hour. He barely pulled on the leash and responded well to praise and redirection. We encountered some deer in the woods and he calmly watched them. He did not lunge nor bark. After the walk we relaxed in the yard and played fetch with the tennis ball. During this time his playful and fun personality shined! He had some zoomies chasing the ball and water from the hose. Afterward he lay down on the grass next to me just wanting pets and to be close. His personality and demeanor is gentle and fairly calm for a young dog. He can be silly, playful and can relax afterwards. He will make a loving companion who just wants to be with his people.
