Description: Thank you for visiting my profile! My name is Bart.
Bio:
Name: BART Age: 3 Years Old
Breed: DSH Sex: Neutered Male
Colour: Brown Tabby Size: 5.45kgs

The staff at the OHS call me a Co-pilot! Co-pilots thrive on being an involved family member, and will likely want to spend a good chunk of their time with you playing, chatting, training, and snoozing. They can handle alone time if you give them enough to do, and their favourite independent activities usually include exploring tunnels, perching by the window, playing with novel toys, and cozying up for a nap. But be ready, because these social kitties will be waiting for you! If you're having guests over, you might find your Co-pilot at your side acting as your official greeter. And if you're working around the house a Co-pilot might just want to help - keep an eye on your keyboard! Co-pilots may also be good candidates for harness training and leash walks outdoors. After living with a Co-pilot, you'll wonder how you ever managed without one.

I ate something that became stuck in my gastrointestinal tract and required surgery to remove. I should be monitored in the future around small toys, blankets, rubber mats, and other things that can be chewed or swallowed to make sure this does not occur again.

I have some dental tartar on my teeth, and some associated gum inflammation. I will likely require a thorough oral health assessment and dental cleaning under general anesthesia within the next year.

I am missing some teeth. I will require regular veterinary check-ups to monitor these areas of my mouth for any changes and it is possible my veterinarian may recommend dental care for this condition under anesthesia in the future.

This cat has exhibited symptoms of feline lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD). Some symptoms include blood in the urine, straining to urinate, urinating outside the litter box, urinary tract infections, crystals in the urine, urinary stones, and an inability to urinate and/or licking the penis or vulva. There are several different potential causes for this syndrome. It is important to discuss this condition with your veterinarian for recommendations going forward!
