Bio:
Name: Lilly Age: 3 year
Breed: DSH Sex: Spayed female
Colour: Tabby Size: 6.44 kg
From my foster: She is an independent and energetic cat. She does well in a quiet environment where she can plan her own day.
The staff at the OHS call me a Star! Stars tend to be self-starters and like to spend part of their day on independent activities, like exploring every nook and cranny of your home! They also enjoy time with their family, but usually on their own terms. Their favourite family activities may include playing with engaging toys, participating in fun training games, or curling up for a nap somewhere close by. Stars are usually pretty resourceful and like to figure out how things work, so they benefit from places to explore and perches near windows. Stars may also be good candidates for harness training and leash walks outdoors! If you're looking for an entertainer with loads of personality, a Star might just be the purrfect match for you!
It is possible I was “over-grooming” my abdomen due to stress. If the thin fur persists in my new home your regular veterinarian may recommend medication or diagnostic tests.
My canine (fang) tooth is broken at the very tip. The tooth otherwise appears normal, but I will need to have it monitored regularly by a veterinarian and they may recommend extraction or root canal of the tooth in the future.
I am overweight, and I will need a veterinarian to oversee my weight loss plan to make sure I lose weight safely. I may need a prescription veterinary diet and regular veterinarian visits to follow my progress.
This cat has exhibited symptoms of feline lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD). This condition affects the urinary bladder and/or urethra (the lower urinary tract) of cats. A prescription diet is helpful at managing this condition.
I am currently relaxing in a foster home as I wait for my forever family. Please contact an adoptions staff to book an appointment to meet me!
If you are interested in setting up an appointment to adopt me, please complete an adoption application at https://ottawahumane.ca/adopt/adoption-application/. Please be advised that although we do offer on-the-spot-adoptions, this is dependent on appointment schedules and cannot be guaranteed.
