Description: Thank you for visiting my profile! My name is Orbit.
Bio:
Name: Orbit Age: 1 year 2 months
Breed: Rat Sex: Male
Colour: Gray Size: 0.72 kg
This rat arrived at the OHS with a poor coat quality and scratches over his body. We suspect this is related to fighting with other rats in the cage. He has been treated for the most common ectoparsites with a topical medication. Poor coat quality could be the result of poor nutrition, housing (bedding, ventilation, etc.) or other causes. If this rat’s coat does not continue to improve your veterinarian may recommend other diagnostic tests.
I am looking for a home with no young kids!!
I am currently relaxing in a foster home as I wait for my forever family. Please contact an adoptions staff to book an appointment to meet me!
If you are interested in setting up an appointment to adopt me, please complete an adoption application at https://ottawahumane.ca/adopt/adoption-application/. Please be advised that although we do offer on-the-spot-adoptions, this is dependent on appointment schedules and cannot be guaranteed.
Items you must have with you:
Proof of Address
Photo ID
Animal Carrier
A leash, collar and any of your other pet supply needs can be purchased at the time of adoption. We have an excellent selection of these items in our Buddy & Belle Boutique, and proceeds from your purchases support the animals at the OHS.
