Milo’s foster says everything about Milo will make you smile. Maybe it’s the way he gently snores with his head resting on your chest, or how he happily rolls around with his favorite ball like it’s the best day ever. Either way, he has an endearing way of working his way right into your heart.
Milo is about a year and a half old, loving, curious, and just a little cautious as he learns the world around him. Once he feels safe, his affectionate side shines. He’s a true couch companion who wants nothing more than to be close to his people, whether that’s curled up beside you or resting his paws in your lap soaking up all the pets he can get.
His days are simple and sweet. Morning snuggles are a must, followed by time outside, meals, walks around the block, playtime, naps, and more time with his favorite people. It’s the kind of rhythm he thrives in and one he’ll happily share with you.
Milo already has a great foundation. He sits beautifully, comes when called, and is eager to learn with treats and consistency. He sleeps through the night in his crate and has been settling into a routine, though like many dogs adjusting to a new home, he’s still working on house training and will need continued guidance.
He enjoys walks and would likely make a wonderful hiking buddy, but he’s just as content being your calm, loyal sidekick at home. He can get a little excited and may jump to say hello, so a home without small children would be the best fit. He would also do best in a home without cats.
Milo has done very well with his foster’s resident dog after slow, thoughtful introductions and now enjoys playing together. He hasn’t met many other dogs yet and can be a bit unsure, sometimes reacting out of fear, so slow introductions will be important. A meet and greet is recommended to ensure a good match.
What Milo really needs is someone who will give him time, structure, and lots of love as he continues to grow in confidence. In return, you’ll get a deeply devoted companion who just wants to be near you and be part of your everyday life.
