??Doggy Day Out featuring Harley??
Rain or shine, Harley had a fun time on her Doggy Day Out!
Harley recently traded her kennel for a Doggy Day Out to the National Arboretum and a local pet store, and she was the perfect little road trip companion! She rode like a pro in the car, took her time enjoying a peaceful stroll through the gardens (even in the rain), and loved stopping to sniff all the interesting scents along the way.
This sweet girl already knows "sit" and is more than happy to show off for a tasty treat. She also walks nicely in a harness and has an easygoing, laid-back vibe that's perfect for someone looking for a relaxed companion. Harley wasn't fazed by passing dogs or kids zooming by on scooters during her outing, and she happily soaked up attention from the pet store manager—earning plenty of pets and handing out a few kisses in return!
Harley has met another shelter dog, Shimmer, and did well, though she can be a little forward when meeting new canine friends. She was patient through lots of sniffs. At the pet store, she let another dog get a little too close to her face while waiting in line and let them know she'd prefer more personal space. Because of that, Harley would do best with slow, thoughtful introductions to any resident dog.
If you're looking for a mellow adventure buddy who loves treats, affection, and taking life one sniff at a time, Harley is ready to be your new best friend!
