Meet Tosh!
Tosh came to the shelter as an owner surrender after his person moved, and I think he’d like to put that whole “moving away from me” thing in the past and focus on finding his next forever home.
Ball is life. Tosh wasn’t interested in a whole toy box full of options—he picked ONE ball and said, “Yep, this is the one.” He happily played with it and didn’t mind sharing. A guy who knows what he likes!
Chill guy alert! Tosh is calm, easygoing, and perfectly happy to hang out and relax.
Dog-friendly! He did well meeting another dog and was polite and tolerant.
Leash pro: Tosh walks nicely on leash and is a pleasant little walking buddy.
Treats = instant motivation. He did well on his food test and was also a surprisingly good student during some agility exercises. With treats involved, Tosh was ready to show off his skills!
Homebody credentials: His previous notes say he was housebroken, did well in the car, and was the only animal in his former home.
Tosh has clearly been through a big change, but this sweet boy has plenty of love, a calm personality, and an adorable obsession with his favorite ball to bring to his next chapter. He’s ready for someone who will make sure “forever” really means forever.
Playgroup notes from May: Gentle and Dainty: steerable, seni-engaged, social, but kept to self
